About this initiative
The worst flooding the nation has seen in recent history has devastated a large part of Pakistan. We are focusing on emergency response in Sehwan Sharif, where we were building our Center for Women and Children. Our primary focus must now turn to the people whose homes have been wiped out, who have nowhere to stay dry, no valuable assets or money, and no food at all. They are relying entirely on charitable support.
These people have absolutely zero resources. Literally, every little bit of help goes a long way.
Please donate and spread the word through our GoFundMe page here.

How are funds being used?
CRITICAL RESources
- Food: The most meager rations go a long way. For example:
- We prepare large pots of very cheap, filling food like a biryani made from rice and potatoes. Delivering essential nutrients, like carbs and sodium.
- Children receive biscuits for breakfast
- Water: We fill containers up from a local water pump and deliver it to villages as needed
- Shelter: Basic accommodations to keep our families dry and help to improve health outcomes. For example:
- Tents need to be acquired from bigger cities (It costs about $18 USD to pick them up from Jamshoro and up to $80 USD to pick them up from Karachi)
- Mosquito nets are desperately needed to prevent mosquito-borne illnesses which can be life-threatening
- Medical Support: We’re investigating for medical support.
ManagemenT OF RESOURCES
We have feet on the ground. Our local community leader is mobilizing resources. His family has lived in the area for centuries, they are well-regarded, and the community looks to him for guidance and support.
